Created this geometric poster as an exploration of Bauhaus principles and contemporary design like Posterlad's work. I wanted to experiment with how simple shapes, limited color palettes, and strategic composition could create visual tension and balance. I also tried to add a subtle design of a butterfly within the geometric forms - it's not immediately obvious, but if you look closely you can see how the shapes and lines come together to suggest those wings. The orange accent color against the black and white creates focal points that guide your eye around the composition. I was happy enough with how it turned out that I actually printed it and hung it in my room - sometimes the best test of your own work is whether you'd want to live with it. It was a good exercise in understanding how classic design principles still feel fresh and relevant today.
