Developed a comprehensive marketing plan for a hypothetical Trader Joe's product launch as part of my Marketing coursework. Our team chose to create a Tortilla Masa Kit - basically add water, mix, and heat in a pan for fresh corn tortillas. What made this project interesting was connecting my Mexican heritage to real market research. We identified authentic Mexican flavors as a key differentiator and built the entire strategy around making traditional food accessible to TJ's health-conscious, culturally curious customer base. I was responsible for designing the entire presentation using Trader Joe's brand identity guidelines, plus I created mock-ups for the masa kit packaging and how it would look on store shelves. The plan included everything from market segmentation and pricing strategy to visual brand execution and launch timeline. It felt good to work on something that honored my culture while solving a real business problem - bringing authentic, convenient Mexican cooking to people who value quality ingredients.
